Get All Your HACCP and FSMA Training Needs at Once!

Feb. 19, 2021

The Food Industries Center is offering an Introductory HACCP Workshop on April 20 - 21, 2021 and FSPCA - Preventive Controls for Human Food Training on April 27 - 29, 2021. Both trainings will be offered online with live instruction.

If you have not had HACCP training for several years, this workshop is for you! Because of the Food Safety Modernization Act’s (FSMA) food safety plan requirement, you need to stay current on what’s happening with HACCP, as well as maintaining current HACCP training credentials. This two-day workshop is an introduction to Hazard, Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) designed for food safety professionals, quality assurance team members, regulatory agency officials, and academic instructors with a specialty in food processing operations. The HACCP Training Program has been accredited by the International HACCP Alliance. Participants completing this 2-day HACCP course will be issued a certificate of completion with the International HACCP Alliance seal. Save $100 when you register for both the HACCP Workshop and the Preventive Controls Workshop

The 3-day FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Training uses FDA-recognized and standardized curriculum that gives participants an overview of the concepts of how to create a Food Safety Plan to comply with the Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls for Human Foods rule. This workshop meets FDA requirements for FSMA training. This workshop is designed for individuals whose facilities are required to register with FDA under section 415 of the FD&C. This includes facilities that manufacture, process, pack or hold human food. This includes QA managers, HACCP practitioners, food safety coordinators, plant managers and others who are responsible for overseeing their company’s food safety plan and will be designated as the “Qualified Individual” under FSMA requirements.
