The Food Industries Center will host a Food Extrusion Workshop in just three months, offering a hands on training experience designed for food industry professionals. Sessions will be led by Ohio State faculty and staff, along with expert industry partners from Clextral, giving participants access to a wide range of practical knowledge and real world extrusion expertise. The program provides applied instruction in extrusion principles, ingredient functionality, product development, and process optimization, with opportunities to work directly on pilot scale equipment throughout the workshop.
