A Young Packaging for Future Generations

Aug 13, 2025 through Aug 14, 2025, 8:00am - 5:00pm

This two-day seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamental processes and materials essential to the aluminum canmaking and beverage packaging industries. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the production of two-piece aluminum cans for beverages, including the regulatory landscape surrounding materials in contact with ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages.

The seminar will explore the entire lifecycle of the beverage can—from aluminum coil to finished product. Topics will include can forming, filling, double seaming, and thermal processing (pasteurization and sterilization) to ensure the safety and shelf stability of RTD beverages. Attendees will leave with a solid foundation in both the technical and regulatory aspects of aluminum beverage packaging.

Expert speakers from leading organizations in the canmaking and packaging industries—including BetterCans, Arconic Corporation, Stolle Machinery, Henkel, INX International, PPG Packaging Coatings, Pneumatic Scale Angelus, OneVision Corporation, JBT Marel Corporation, and The Ohio State University—will present this information as part of this new seminar.
