Steps to Market

The FIC will work with you during all necessary steps to have your product ready for the market. We develop and scale-up the products from your homemade recipe, your idea, or your new concept. You will work with qualified food scientists and food technologists to develop your product to commercial recipes, and to create the label with the required nutritional facts and list of ingredients. The last step consists of selecting a suitable package that meets industry and regulation standards. Upon completion of the scale-up product, the FIC will put you in contact with marketing experts from the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics or the Fisher School of Business who can work with you on your marketing needs.
